Internship & Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering/interning at Prudence Crandall Center.
We accept interns and volunteers for both direct client services and development/community engagement.
Volunteers are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis based on available opportunities. 

Direct Client Services, Advocacy & Prevention Education
​Opportunities for volunteers and/or internships in our Residential and Community programs focus on hotline, shelter, counseling, and prevention education (as available). Priority is given to full year graduate level students requiring 300+ hours.

Volunteers & interns working directly with clients, prevention, and community education must complete a 24-hour DV Certification course prior to beginning their placement.

Development & Community Engagement
Opportunities for volunteers and/or internships in our Development & Community Engagement office focus on events, communications, fundraising, administrative/data entry, marketing, and donor stewardship efforts.
